Franklin Institute: Science After Hours Event, 7/11

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of co-representing Second State Press at the Franklin Institute’s Science After Hours event. Science After Hours is a program run by the museum that provides the space for socializing and adult-themed activities for working professionals. Last night's theme was "The Sixties". My fellow printmakers and I were doing a quick screenprinting demonstration using a pretty cool Ben Franklin Design. Here are some pictures from the night!:

It was a great opportunity to engage with people and spread the word about printmaking. So many people reacted positively and signed up to learn more and potentially take classes later on! I will definitely throw my hat in to be a part of future events!
